I have Ned Doheny's version as well (he co-wrote it), but he's nowhere near as good as Chaka and AWB. My favorite on this mix is the Bill Champlin track at the end - it's so, so great. Dave Hungate, former Toto-bassist played on Champlin's album and in jest he called it the best album nobody's ever heard. You’re right - it’s from 1980.
